In recent years, JavaScript has moved to the forefront of Web technologies. Driving this widespread adoption of JavaScript is the development and proliferation of numerous JavaScript frameworks, like jQuery, Moo Tools, and Adobe's own Spry. In this session, you learn how to work with various frameworks to expand your layout palette, enhance your forms and spice up your page. Also explore how to integrate HTML and XML data with interactive Ajax-driven tools. Additionally, this session covers the application and use of a variety of web widgets including calendars, rating components, and image slide shows.

Joe Lowery is the author of the best-selling Dreamweaver and Fireworks Bible, published by IDG Books Worldwide. Lowery, a web designer, has been training corporate clients and individuals in computer graphics and web design since 1996. He is also the co-author of Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 Recipes, Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 Beyond the Basics, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 Killer Tips, and the author of Buying Online for Dummies.
