Flash's greatest potential can only be achieved through scripting, and even a competent designer needs to know how to demonstrate simple prototypes of new work. This full-day intensive introduces you to the core language fundamentals, makes extensive use of the new display list and event model, and demonstrates some key migration issues from prior versions of ActionScript. More than anything else, this class builds your programming skills and frees you from the Timeline. Rather than walking away knowing how to cobble together a few widgets, you learn enough to write your own scripts from scratch.
Level: Beginner. Day 1 of the workshop, Introduction to Flash CS4, or equivalent is required.
