Review your math before taking the UH Pre-Calculus Assessment. Includes: mathematics operations on numbers and on algebraic expressions; products, factoring, algebraic fractions, exponents, and radicals; linear and quadratic equations; inequalities, polynomials, and their roots; and functions. Practice outside of class is expected; your scores will not improve unless you do homework. Includes courseware and opportunity to take the Department of Mathematics assessment exam before the next evening section of Math 140 begins. (Check MyUH for details.) Provide email address with registration. Prerequisite: Beginning Algebra.
