With the combination of its high-resolution cameras, powerful processor, and inexpensive apps, the iPad is a versatile content creation tool that gives you the ability to flex your creativity anywhere. This workshop demonstrates some of the most useful features of Apple's inexpensive multimedia apps for the iPad. Learn to shoot, edit, and enhance photos with iPhoto; how to edit and export an entire video project with iMovie; and how to compose and create songs in GarageBand, even if you have no musical experience.

Garrick Chow is the author of five books in the Hands-On Trainingseries on the subjects of Mac OS X, Adobe Dreamweaver, and Adobe Acrobat. Currently as a senior trainer at lynda.com, Garrick develops video tutorials covering topics as diverse as web design, home and small office networking, photo management, sound and video editing, and music creation. When not sitting in front of a computer screen, Garrick can be found playing with the indie-rock band The Jellybricks.
