Intensive Summer Courses

Busy summer coming up – with travel plans, a research project, or commitments at work or at home?

You can still stay on track with your degree or get a jump-start on fall by registering for one of the intensive summer courses that can be completed in 2–4 weeks! See what students and faculty had to say about previous intensive summer courses.

You asked for more options to focus on a single class to complete 3 or 4 credits in a 2–4 week time period. Summer Sessions, working along with many academic departments, now offers a wide selection of courses to fill that need.

We want you to be successful! Taking a 3-credit course in the intensive format is equivalent to a 15-credit semester load. We recommend taking only one intensive course at a time.

Interested? The available intensive courses are listed below; please see Class Availability for additional details.
