Need-based Scholarships for Current UH Mānoa Students
If you are a current UH Mānoa student receiving financial aid during the 2017-2018 academic year, need-based scholarships are available. You will have to submit an online application due on April 13, 2018. Click here for the Financial Aid Services website with more information.

First-Year Merit Scholarships
First-Year Merit Scholarship Application
University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Outreach College is pleased to offer a $1,200 merit scholarship to up to 200 first-year UH Mānoa students for Summer Sessions 2018. This award recognizes academically exceptional students who have demonstrated a commitment to completing their UH Mānoa degree in four years.

The $1,200 award is to be applied towards the tuition for a single UH Mānoa Summer Sessions 2018 course. Award recipients will be responsible for any remaining course tuition and costs. Scholarship applications are due on March 23, 2018 (Friday).

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this Summer Sessions 2018 merit scholarship, you must:

  • have been admitted to UH Mānoa as a freshman in the Fall 2017 semester.
  • have 27 or more credits. (Credits from classes completed by the end of Fall 2017 as well as classes registered for in Spring 2018 as of March 10th will be counted towards these 27+ credits.)
  • have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher as of the end of the Fall 2017 semester. (A student’s cumulative GPA is based on credit courses completed at UH Mānoa.)
  • be registered for at least 3 credits in the Summer 2018 term by March 23, 2018 at 4:30 PM HST.

Sophomore Merit Scholarships
Sophomore Merit Scholarship Application
University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Outreach College is pleased to offer a $1,200 merit scholarship to up to 200 sophomore UH Mānoa students in recognition of their academic excellence.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this Summer Sessions 2018 merit scholarship, you must:

  • have UH Mānoa as your home campus in the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 semesters
  • have sophomore standing (30-59 credits) at the end of the Fall 2017 semester (UH Mānoa and Transfer Credits)
  • have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher as of the end of the Fall 2017 semester (a student’s cumulative GPA is based on credit courses completed at UH Mānoa)
  • be registered for at least 3 credits in the Summer 2018 term by March 23, 2018
